Srinivas Chintapalli, 57, beloved son, husband, father, and friend, died on August 9th, Orlando, Florida from ALS.
Srinivas, a quiet yet playful individual whose kindness, humor, and warm smile left an indelible mark on all who knew him. Jokes brought out the twinkle in his eyes. Srinivas was an athletic, outdoorsy guy, who loved to play basketball, hike and play! His hobbies included college football, board games, the beach, and trying to beat his kids scores on the NY Times puzzles.
His kids meant the world to him. But nothing was more sacred to him than his Alma Mater, Auburn University where he graduated with a degree in Computer Science.
Srinivas is survived by his wife, Lavanya and two daughters, Anya & Myna.
Srinivas was born on May 13th, 1967 in Vijayawada, India to Seetharamiah & Bhagya Lakshmi. He married Lavanya in 1998.
Srinivas worked as a Software Engineer and absolutely loved his work, often coding for fun. He worked as long as he possibly could, stopping just three months shy of his passing. His boss sent the following note: "I was so blessed to know him. Many have asked me to relay their sincere condolences and prayers for the family."
A funeral is scheduled for Wednesday, 14th August at 9:30am at DeGusipe Home with a lunch to follow at the Venue at Lake Lily. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Srinivas's life.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Florida ALS Association; they have helped Srinivas immensely during his time there, as he actively sought out cures and clinical trials.
