Soledad “Sola” Bello (née Lopez) passed away peacefully on July 20, 2026, in Orlando, Florida, at the age of 93. Born on April 6, 1933, in Havana, Cuba, Soledad’s remarkable journey was shaped by perseverance, courage, and love for her family.

Soledad’s life was defined by her unwavering dedication and strength. A powerful chapter of her story unfolded during a time of immense personal sacrifice: she remained in Cuba for two years after her husband, son, and daughter left the country, as the Cuban government deemed her paperwork improper. This period was a testament to her resilience and deep devotion to the people she loved.

Soledad is deeply mourned by her devoted family. She leaves behind her beloved daughter, Ines Henry, and her son, Roger Bello. The legacy of her love continues through her grandchildren: Roger, Robert, Daniel, and Nicole. Her great grandchildren Roger, Jennifer, Burke Audrey, Scarlett, Ryder, Blake, Gianna, and Bella, —brought her boundless joy. Soledad is also survived by her loving siblings: her brother, Gilberto Lopez, and her sisters, Ada Alonzo and Rosa Bernardo.

Soledad is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Julio Bello. She is also reunited with her brothers Raul, Ovidio, Oreste, Ernesto, and Orlando Lopez, as well as her sister, Asuncion Alvarez.

Soledad’s grace, steadfastness, and values endure in the hearts of those whose lives she touched.

Family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance of Soledad at DeGusipe Funeral Home & Crematory - West Orange Chapel, located at 1400 Matthew Paris Blvd, Ocoee, FL 34761. Visitation will be held on July 25, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 am, immediately followed by the funeral service at 10:30 am at the funeral home.

Interment will follow at Edgewood-Greenwood Cemetery, Apopka, FL.

Her legacy lives on in all who knew and loved her. May she rest in peace.
