Obituary

Shirley Ann Lee, 75, of Casselberry, FL passed away on January 18, 2023 after 3 years with lung cancer. DeGusipe Funeral Home of Florida is flying her to Easley, SC where Robinson's Funeral Home will handle visitation and grave side services. She is being buried in the family plot at St. Paul United Methodist Church 2513 Brushy Creek Rd, Easley, SC 29642 .

Shirl was born August 1, 1947, in Greenville, SC to parents Burns and Shelly (Ellison)Lee who preceded her in death. She has two brothers who preceded her in death, Eugene Lee and Daniel Lee.
Shirl loved to read, enjoyed music, traveling, fishing and being outdoors. She grew up in a military family and traveled many places; France, Holland, Hawaii, Newfoundland and The Panama Canal. She lived in Japan and Germany and saw almost every state in the USA during her lifetime. She was a determined lady with a love of learning and "keeping her mind sharp!". She fulfilled her lifetime goal of getting a college degree with an AA from Clemson University and a BA from Furman University in accounting at age 55. From trying Spelunking to a two week bike trip on a Harley to fishing bass tournaments, she lived and enjoyed a full life.

She is survived by her children: Don and wife Rhonda Dawson of Doraville, GA and Trina Dawson of Casselberry, FL; Grandchildren: Dustin Dawson of Buckhead, GA, Christopher Dawson and Kayla Holdash of Dawsonville, GA, Brooke Weiss of Casselberry, FL; Great grandchild: Chance Dawson of Dawsonville, GA; Brother: Thomas Lee of Spartanburg, SC; Nephews: Timothy Lee and Tommy Lee; Niece: Andrea and husband Matt Turner.
