Born February 2, 1929 in Elmira, NY the daughter of Charles and Anna (Geiser) Harvey passed away Saturday October 7, 2017 in Winter Park, Florida at the age of 88. Shirley was predeceased by her husband William N. Eckler in December 2014 and two brothers Willard (Jane) Harvey of Whittier, CA and Charles, Jr. (Jeannette) Harvey of Elmira, NY. She leaves behind a daughter and son-in-law Yvonne & Scott Suits of Winter Park, FL and son and daughter-in-law Richard & Eileen Eckler of Ashfield, MA; grandchildren: Stephanie (Jarod) Suits-Carroll of Oceanside, CA; Kimberly Suits of Tuscaloosa, AL; Sean Eckler of Ashfield, MA; Ian Eckler of Ashfield, MA; great grandsons Shane and Odin Carroll.

Shirley was a graduate of South Side High school and dedicated over thirty years working at Chemung Canal Trust Company. She was a faithful member of the Trinity Episcopal Church in Elmira, was a volunteer at the American Red Cross, regularly supported St. Jude's hospital, loved to play golf with friends, travel and enjoyed her family.

Private Internment services will take place in the Woodlawn National Cemetery where Shirley will again be joined with Bill.
