Shannon Rae Blackwelder peacefully passed away in her sleep on Friday, December 4, 2015 at home in Orlando, Florida. She is survived by her loving daughter Jensen Luca, her father Wayne Blackwelder (Ramona Hansbrough) and mother Fortunata 'Tuni' Blackwelder (John Dowd), her four sisters, Paige Blackwelder (Warren Lockeby), Kristen Blackwelder Jernigan (Alex Jernigan), Lisa M. Blackwelder and Layne Blackwelder Hooper (Chris Hooper) her four nephews, McGowin Jernigan, Andrew Jernigan, Maddox Hooper and Brock Hooper and her boyfriend Domenic Cali and their dog Oliver.

Despite her struggles, she was a loving daughter to her parents, the funniest of the five sisters and most importantly a mom who loved her daughter Jensen Luca more than anyone could ever imagine. Shannon's heart was as huge as her personality! She was a natural care-giver, a great cook, quick witted, and a lover of books and dogs.

We will miss her dearly, however we find comfort in knowing she is resting peacefully without pain.
