Scott Stuart Seegert, died unexpectedly in Franklin, North Carolina at the age of 48.

Scott is survived by his wife, Trena Seegert; Son, Austin Seegert; Stepdaughter, Taylor Streeter; Father, Jon S. Seegert; Mother, Linda Grant; Stepfather, Steve Grant; Sister, Shannon (Paul) Griffith;. Sister, Riley (Andrew) Gardiner, Nephew, Bryce and 2 Nieces, Vivian and Parker, loving in-laws and many extended family members and close friends.

Scott was born on June 1, 1972 in Oakland, CA . After graduating from Lyman High School, Scott furthered his education by receiving his degree in Mortuary Science at Gupton Jones College. He pursued his career by working in the funeral industry for over 20 years as a Funeral Director and Embalmer. In 2013, Scott married the love of his life, Trena.

Scott was a man of many talents, he had a passion for "fixing things". If you visited any homes or businesses Scott patronized, you would be sure to see his handiwork or something beautiful he had built. Scott and Trena shared a love for Nascar and spending time at Nascar events. They also shared a love for the beach, spending time with Austin and Taylor, and their 3 dogs, Chio, Hope and Cassie. Most of all Scott loved, spending time with his family. Whether it was enjoying his favorite holiday, Thanksgiving with the entire family, drinking morning coffee in the mountains with Mimi and Pap-pap, spending time visiting his son, Austin who is currently serving our country in the US Navy, Scott was always treasured family time and loved them unconditionally.

All during his life, Scott had a huge heart; sharing kindness and love in any way he was able. He loved helping, and was constantly trying to put a smile on someone's face or a laugh in their voice. He will always be remembered and hold a special place in our hearts.
