Sarah Marie Lippi left our world on Wednesday, February 3, 2016 at the age of 93. Her faith in God, friendship and family are what brought her greatest joy. Although it was difficult for Sarah to leave behind her daughter, Anna Thompson, her three grandchildren, Dottie Davidson and her husband, Dave, Donna Thompson and Kirk Lippi with his wife, Shelley and two beautiful great-grandchildren, Christen and Holly Coleman, her faith assured her that her love for them would continue on.
Sarah's devotion to her family was unprecedented. Her grandchildren lovingly called her Nan. She didn't hesitate to come in and take care of sick family members while continuing to raise grandchildren or assisting with bringing up the great grandchildren. Her family was her life.
Nan taught them valuable lessons. Nan demonstrated to them how to give of themselves when she would bring groceries back to her neighbors or dog sit for her friends. She shared with them the sweeter things in life like the importance of a good bowl of ice cream. It was the simple things in life that Nan enjoyed the most.
Nan will be remembered for many things such as her love, her faith and her selfless attitude. The one thing that everyone will recall when thinking of Nan is the special gift she gave to each and everyone she met. It was one of her greatest treasures – her smile.
Her family is truly grateful for the love and dedication she gave along with the lessons she shared. Nan will be remembered for the wonderful woman she was. A Mass will be held on Friday, February 12th, 2:00 pm at ANNUNCIATION CATHOLIC CHURCH at 1020 Montgomery Road, Altamonte Springs, FL 32714 in her honor.
