Sandra died peacefully in her sleep at home in Winter Springs, Florida, after being diagnosed with cancer
just one month earlier. She was a loving daughter, sister, mother, aunt, grandmother and great
grandmother and loyal friend to many. Sandra is survived by her sons, Michael (Denise) McDonald, John
(Lorena) McDonald, and daughter, Judy Moore and 7 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
Originally from Escanaba, Michigan, she raised her family in Central Florida until moving to Appleton,
Wisconsin in 1976 to pursue her father's family business after his passing. Sandra moved back to Florida
in 1989 to the Winter Haven/Bartow area but was a resident in the Orlando area for the past 15 years.
Sandra was a professional businesswoman throughout her working life and held positions such as
Mortgage Loan Originator, Senior Administrative Manager and Business Owner to name a few. She was
always eager to lend a hand in any organization or social group she joined and would volunteer and take
charge if needed to keep things running smoothly and consistently so that everyone benefited from her
behind-the-scenes efforts.
Sandra was a member of the Winter Springs Senior Center and a member of a bowling league for the
last several years. She was a great bowler with an average of 142! She is missed dearly by her friends
and family and will live on in all our hearts and minds.
