Sandra Kay (Catherine) Brady, a beloved wife, devoted mother, and cherished grandmother, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 17, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. Sandra was 79 years old.
Sandra was known for her boundless warmth, unwavering kindness, and her incredible ability to nurture those around her.
Sandra was born on September 7, 1944 in Williamsport Pennsylvania. She was the daughter of Paul and Kay Steinbacher. She graduated from Loyalsock High School and shortly after she graduated, she married (Gifford) Bruce Brady, her husband of 46 years. Sandra traveled to many countries (Italy, Panama, Germany) with Bruce and enjoyed a military life filled with adventures and great memories. She gave her daughters the best nurturing upbringing any child could hope for. As her daughters got older, she went back to school to become an LPN, and worked on the pediatrics and post-partum units at Florida Hospital Altamonte Springs.
Her greatest joy in life was found in her family. Sandra reveled in spending time with her loved ones, creating cherished memories that will live on in their hearts forever. She was a constant source of happiness, her laughter and love a soothing presence to all who knew her.
She was the heart and soul of her family, always eager to lend a helping hand or offer a comforting hug. Her home was a sanctuary of love and joy, filled with the warmth of family gatherings and the simple pleasures of life.
She is survived by; her loving children, Kim Pleasants, Kelli Nulty (Brian Nulty), and Kristen Kvalheim (Dwayne Kvalheim)]; her cherished grandchildren, Sydnie Pleasants, Ren Brady, Shane Nulty, Heather Nulty, Madison Kvalheim, and Riley Kvalheim; and a wide circle of friends who were blessed to know her.
Sandra's legacy is one of selfless love and joy, a beacon of light that will continue to inspire those who had the privilege of knowing her. She will be deeply missed but forever remembered for the profound impact she had on the lives she touched.
A celebration of Sandra's life will be held on Friday, August 23, 2024 at DeGusipe Funeral Home, 9001 N Orlando Avenue, Maitland, FL, 32751 from 3:00-5:00, with the service beginning at 4:00, where family and friends will come together to honor and remember the incredible woman she was.
