Sally Ann O'Dell was born on November 10, 1932 in Cincinnati, OH; Passed away at her home in Florida on December 18, 2015 at the age of 83. She graduated from Sacred Heart Academy and then married Ronald E. O'Dell (known fondly as, Digger) on July 7, 1951. Sally stayed at home to raise their 6 children and then became a secretary and worked retail, all of which she enjoyed immensely. What she loved most were traveling, bowling, playing bridge with her girlfriends, swimming and cooking. As life went on, the things she held most dear were the visits and calls from her grandchildren.
Sally is survived by many loving family members, nieces, nephews, grandchildren and; her children; Kathy (Steve) Vick and Martha O'Dell, Thomas O'Dell, Margaret O'Dell and Molly O'Dell. Her brother; George (Carol) Osterfeld. Her grandchildren; Dawn (Chad) Hartley, Amy (Paul) Miller, Jae (Kraig) Wouri and Tommy (Megan) O'Dell. She was preceded in death by Digger (husband), Timothy O'Dell (son), Annie O'Dell (granddaughter) and George & Martha Osterfeld (parents).
Celebration of life held at St. Rose Catholic Church Cincinnati, OH – 10 am Friday April 1, 2016. There is a 1:30pm reception following at the La Quinta Inn and Suites Mason, OH.
She may be gone, but never forgotten and in our hearts forever!
