RuthAnn Keilholtz (Schares) 69 of Lake Mary passed away on Sunday February 19, at Florida Hospital-Orlando. She was born May 26, 1947 in Jesup IA. RuthAnn is survived by her loving husband Les, son Mark ,(Melanie) and 2 grandchildren (Marc and Damon). RuthAnn was best known for her kindness, generosity and baking.
She worked for the State of Iowa for 42 years. In her work she improved the lives of everyday people throughout her career. She also baked cakes for parties and special occasions. During holidays everyone that knew her was graced with her Christmas goodies. Even shipping them across country to make sure family could enjoy them. RuthAnn was always very close to her family, from Florida to Washington and every state in between, her brothers and sisters knew they still had a listening ear. After retiring as a Supervisor of Department of Human Services, from the State of Iowa, RuthAnn and Les left their home state to move to warmer weather in Florida. Her favorite view was the sunset on the beach and went to see it as often as she could. Hobbies are hard to describe since she tried a bit of everything, but kept coming back to the love of her family.
She is loved and missed by all who knew her.
