Royce Bazemore Thomas, 92, of Casselberry, FL passed away November 12, 2018.

Royce was known to his friends and family as "Tom," "Tommy," "Baze," and "Grandpa," and jokingly referred to himself as "The Decorator." He was a hardworking, avid fisherman who loved telling jokes, spending time with his friends and family and sharing the stories of the good times he had with them.

He was born in Candor, NC and raised in the Oxford Orphanage. At the age of 18, the Navy stationed him in Ft. Lauderdale, FL during WWII. There he met his first wife, Doris, and together they had four children: Michael Thomas, Melodie Bergeron, Dan Thomas, and Jody Fogle.

He is survived by his second wife of 42 years, Donna, his 4 children, 10 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren.

There will be a Celebration of Life Service Saturday, November 17 at 1:00 with a reception to follow at DeGusipe Funeral Home – Maitland Chapel, 9001 N. Orlando Avenue, Maitland, FL 32751.
