It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Rosette Velayo Garzon, 77, of Ocoee, on November 13, 2025.

Rosette was a devoted and loyal wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and friend. She had a generous heart and unwavering dependability.

Rosette is survived by her children, Rowena(Keith) McMurray and Ruben(Jennifer) Garzon; her treasured granddaughters, Isabella and Ilyana Garzon, Khloe and Kailah McMurray; her brother, Reuel (Imelda) Velayo; sister, Rhoda(Virgilio) Peralta; loving nieces, nephews, sister-in-laws, brother-in-laws, cousins, and family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ruben Dionisio Garzon; parents, Ricardo and Eleanor Velayo, her brothers, Edwin and Romulo Velayo.

A celebration of Rosette's life will be held on Saturday, November 29, 2025, with a viewing starting at 1pm and 3pm service at DeGusipe Funeral Home (1400 Matthew Paris Blvd, Ocoee, FL 34761). In lieu of flowers, a memorial gift can be made to First United Methodist Church of downtown Orlando ( https://onrealm.org/firstchurchorlando/-/form/give/now ) in Rosette's name.
