Rose J. Dorazio 88 Longwood FL passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on May 23, 2017. Born on August 19, 1928 in East Rochester New York to parents Nicola and Victoria LaPietra. Loving mother to son David, daughters Diana, Donna and Karyn and devoted wife to husband Alton Dorazio. Rose and Alton attended their high school prom together and have been together for 70 years. After marrying Alton in 1952 they lived in Key West and New Orleans before returning to East Rochester to raise their children and eventually moving to Florida. She enjoyed family gatherings and spending time with her twelve grandchildren, six great grandchildren and three sisters. Rose is survived by her husband Alton, son David and his wife Tammy, daughter Diana Burt and her husband Bob, daughter Donna Duffy and her husband Larry, daughter Karyn Sanchez and her husband Carlos and their families, as well as her sisters, Joanne Bazinet, MaryJane Dorazio, Patricia Bowmer and their families. Brother Anthony LaPietra, predeceased. Memorial Mass will be held at Annunciation Catholic Church, 1020 Montgomery Road, Altamonte Springs, Florida on June 3rd 2017 at 10:00 am. Internment will be in New York. The Dorazio Family would like to thank all who cared and prayed for Rose and ask all of you to celebrate her memories and her love as she will be in all our hearts forever.
