Ronald C. Veino 82, Osteen , passed away Friday, March 21st, 2014 in Orange City, FL.
Ronald was a life time resident and active community leader of Osteen, FL. He served as a medic in the US Army, he was a Volusia County Deputy Sheriff and a life time cattleman. He was a commercial fisherman on St. Johns River, a member of Florida Cattleman's Assoc., Volusia Cattleman's Assoc., National Cutting Horse Assoc. and the American Legion Post. He enjoyed hunting, listening to his deer dogs run, working cows, spending time with his loved ones and his cat, Festus. However his passion was riding his horse.
Ronald was preceded in death by his loving wife of 54 years, Helen Veino; Father: Irving Veino; Mother: Cleavie Misner ; Brother: Irving Veino Jr.; Nephew: Daniel "Clay" Veino; and Grandson: Rodney "Tuffy" Veino.
He is survived by: Sons: Rodney E. (Tammy) Veino, Sr of New Smyrna Beach, FL; Victor Veino of Osteen, FL; Brother, Chuck Misner; Nephews: John (Anita) Veino and Jeffrey C. Veino; Grandchildren: Alicia V. Dease, Brian Rozell, Jessica Bussell, and Michelle Ladewig; Six Great Grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews and his loving companion, Shirley Hutching.
A visitation will be held 10:00-11:30 am Wednesday, March 26th at DeGusipe Funeral Home 905 S. Laural Ave. Sanford, FL. A graveside service will be held at 12:30 pm at Osteen Cemetery in Deltona, FL. There will be a gathering following the graveside service at Ronald's residence.
