Ronald Layton Tabb passed away unexpectedly on July 3, 2026, in Deltona, FL, at the age of 52. Born in Sanford, FL, on December 6, 1973, Ronald spent a lifetime forming deep and memorable bonds in the community he cherished.

A proud graduate of Lake Mary High School, Class of 1991, Ronald’s life journey was marked by steadfast dedication, both to his work and, most importantly, to his family. His professional path led him to the Seminole County School Board, where he was a valued member of the Information Technology team as a Network Communications Specialist. Ronald’s dedication, skill, and reliability made a lasting impression on all who worked alongside him.

Beyond his career, Ronald cultivated a life rich with warmth, humor, and a unique presence that endeared him to many. He was known for his loving, albeit stubborn, nature, and his spirited personality left no room for forgettable moments—he was, as those close to him would say, “a grade A... well, we won't finish that sentence.” Annual trips to Wekiva Falls with his family became treasured traditions, and his light-hearted spirit shone through his frequent jokes, such as how “fish don't get wet when it rains.”

Ronald’s passions and hobbies reflected a zest for togetherness and fun. He sought out reggae concerts, relished the simple pleasure of fishing, and was always “special” to those he loved. His presence at the barbecue grill or in the kitchen was more than just about food—it was about bringing people together, sharing stories, and creating memories.

Above all else, Ronald’s proudest accomplishment was becoming a dad. He leaves a legacy that finds its deepest roots in his beloved family, who will cherish his memory and carry forward his loving spirit. He is survived by his wife, Tammy Tabb; his sons, Jeremy Tabb and Nicholas Tabb; his daughter, Amanda Tabb; his daughter-in-law, Amanda; his step-son, Austin Cunningham; his brother, Tim Tabb; his sister-in-law, Sherri; his granddaughter, McKenna Tabb; and his grandson, Asher Tillotson.

Ronald is preceded in death by his father, Marvin Tabb; his mother, Brenda Tabb; and his brother, Terry Tabb.

Family and friends will gather to honor Ronald’s memory at a Memorial Gathering on July 10, 2026, from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m., followed by a Memorial Service at 11:00 a.m., both held at Sanford Chapel, 905 Laurel Ave, Sanford, FL 32771.

Ronald Layton Tabb’s enduring love, generous spirit, and unforgettable personality will be deeply missed by all who had the blessing to know him.
