Obituary

Ronald Conner Russell passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by family on the 4th of July 2022 at the age of 81. He was born to Herbert and Alma Russell on January 31st 1941 in Duncan OK.

He was preceded in death by the love of his life, his beautiful and loving wife, Judith Joyce Russell. He is survived by his sister Carla and her husband Jerry Tanner and their children Heath and Heather of Tulsa, OK. Further he is survived by his sister in law Melinda and her husband Dick Amio of Lake Havasu AZ. He is also survived by his children Cindy and her husband Paul Fabry of Winter Garden FL, Andria Cadman of Ocoee FL, Tom Russell of Kansas City MO and Diana and her husband Bobby Harmon of Alpharetta GA along with his grandchildren John and his wife Gessica Pilkinton, Chris and his wife Mary Jo Pilkinton, Sara Fabry, Anna Fabry, Michelle and her husband Mark Sullivan, Mitchell Cadman, Maria Cadman, Anthony Russell, Teresa and her husband Diego Padres, Leslie and her husband Pete Foster, Alex and his wife Christy Harmon and Paige Harmon followed by 18 great grandchildren. Additionally he is survived by nieces, nephews, relatives, close friends, neighbors and anyone who met him. He is also survived by his 5th child, his precious, cherished, treasured cat Mojo.

After graduating high school in Tulsa, Oklahoma, he attended college Northeastern State University in Tahlequah, OK and The University of Tulsa in Tulsa, OK. He then decided to hitchhike to California with friends where he met the most beautiful woman he had ever seen who became his wife. He had a successful career as an advertising executive with a variety of companies. He was a lover of books and music.

He was adored and known as Pop. His love of ice cream, Mexican food, Diet DP and all things sweet were evident by the stashes of sweets found after his passing. He loved children and animals, especially cats. He will be remembered and missed everyday by those who knew and loved him.

He will be cremated at the DeGusipe funeral home. And per his request, Jerry Lee Lewis "Great Ball of Fire" will be playing during the process. We love and will miss you always Pop.

Please save the date. We will be having a celebration of life on September 3rd 2022 from 5:00-8:00 at 1705 Sparkling Water Circle, Ocoee FL.
