Ronald Clyatt Johnson of Apopka, Florida, passed away Sunday, February 13th, 2022 in the warm company of his loved ones at the age of 70 years.

A life-long Floridian, Ron was known for his extensive work in the landscaping community throughout Central Florida. Having coordinated the landscaping design and implementation of several iconic Orlando landmarks, his creative mind, extensive knowledge of horticulture, and love of nature continue to make an impact on the scenery of our beautiful city.

Ron never shied away from a great conversation, whether he was discussing his passion for world history, reminiscing about Fort Lauderdale in the 1970s, or showing his friends and family the best way to take care of their orchids and bromeliads; he made every moment you spent with him an eventful one. His stories, life lessons, and one-of-a-kind personality will live on with his wife Mary Carol and daughter Julie.

A memorial service will be held at Pineywood Cemetery, 1810 S. Lakemont Ave., Winter Park, FL 32803, on April 23rd at 2 pm.
