On July 18th 2018, Ronald Evan Hyman lost his battle with pancreatic cancer. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, great-great-grandfather, friend and family member to many. Ron was a social being who had a positive effect on all those he came across.
Ron was born in New York City on June 21st 1933 to Myrtle & Harold Hyman.
He served 4 years in the U.S. Air Force and was a Korean War Veteran, receiving his Honorable Discharge in 1956 after achieving the rank of Master Sargent.
Ron Hyman is survived by his wife Betty-Anne Brenneman, his two children Ramona Cabrera & Ron Hyman II, two grandchildren Armando Ortiz & Zoe Hyman, nine great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, and his sister Madge Morgan. Ron was preceded in death by his beloved brother Maurice (Murry) Hyman.
In the last few decades Ron re-discovered his Jamaican heritage and spent a great deal of time in Jamaica with his sister, nephews & nieces.
While his passing has brought great sorrow to all those who knew him, it is the love that he left behind that will carry us all through.
