Ronald Hunter, 78, of Uniontown, PA went home to be with the lord on Sunday, February 18, 2024.

Ronald was born on December 20, 1945, in McKeesport, Pennsylvania the son of Ulysses Johnson and Freddie Mae (Jones) Hunter.

In addition to his parents, Ronald is preceded in death by his grandparents who raised him, Joseph and Janie Hunter from Lincoln Way in Clairton and a son, Gary Townsend.

Ronald is survived by his beloved wife, Georgia Tarpley of Uniontown, two daughters, Sharold Townsend and Rhonda Hunter, three sons, Ronald Townsend, Peter Hunter and Lenny Spence, sister, Jacquelyn Diane Hunter, Aunt, Mrs. Shirley Spence and a host of cousins, Stepsons: Richard Taylor and wife Myra and James Taylor and his partner Karen Ransaw, Stepdaughters: Mary Taylor, Bertha Tarpley-Arvinger, and Caroline Tarpley, grandchildren, Aaron Webb, Joshua Taylor, Jerica Taylor, Jamalica Taylor, Jaykel Brown, Maurice Godfrey III, London Taylor, Serena Taylor, Stephon McFarland, Bria Taylor, Jeanise Taylor, Shaun Taylor, Rihannna Powell, Kiana Arvinger, Deondre Dotson, Tiajana Brown and Raekwon Pratt, several great grandchildren, great grandson, Joey Lipscomb Jr., and a host of friends.

Friends and family will be received in the DeGusipe Funeral Home and Crematory, 65 N. Gallatin Ave., Uniontown, PA, Stacey A. Dolfi, on Saturday, February 24, 2024, from 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM at which time a service will be held in the funeral home. Interment is private.
