Ronald Charles Eddinger, Sr, age 84, of Seminole, passed away on June 30, 2024. He was born on
August 9, 1939 in Williamsport, Pennsylvania, to Charles and Esther Eddinger and moved to Florida in
1976.
Ron was married to Elizabeth 'Betty' Eddinger for 49 wonderful years until her passing in 2010. Their love
for each other was profound, and they are now together again.

Ron leaves behind a legacy of family members he was especially proud of: his children, Ron (Stacey)
Eddinger, Jr of Fortville, Indiana and Scott (Susan) Eddinger of Seminole, Florida; his grandchildren
Andrew (Amanda) Eddinger of Clearwater, Florida, Ashlyn (Thomas) Schurr of Brandon, Florida, Craig
'Vince' (Caitlin) Eddinger of Ft. Myers, Florida, Tyler (Samuel) Eddinger-May of Philadelphia,
Pennsylvania, and Sara Eddinger of Fortville, Indiana; along with 5 great-grandchildren and many nieces
and nephews. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Betty; parents Charles and Esther Eddinger;
and sisters Barbara Bendert and Sharon Crowe.

Ron was known for being strong-willed yet humorous, skilled in his craftsmanship, and having a deep
love for his family. For over 35 years he worked as an engineer in the Defense Industry, where he made
many contributions that paved the way for modern day design.

In his retired life, Ron enjoyed traveling, hunting, woodturning, establishing the Double E Ranch, and
spending time with family. He was an avid volunteer at the polls for the Pinellas County Supervisor of
Elections and a dedicated member of the St. Petersburg Woodcrafters Guild for many years.

A memorial service will be held at St. Anne of Grace Episcopal Church on July 5, 2024 at 1:00pm.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Suncoast Hospice.

compassionate care.
