Ronald Arthur 'Ron' Bowles, 80, died peacefully on June 24, 2023. He was born on May 23, 1943, to Jeanne Dowling and Stanley Hunter Bowles in Akron, Ohio.
He grew up in Lake Worth, Florida and married his high school sweetheart, Cynthia Lee Clayton on May 23, 1964. Ron graduated from the University of Florida in 1966 with a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering. Ron worked as an engineer through 1989. He then served as a trusted financial planner up until his retirement in 2019.
Ron enjoyed motorcycling, water sports and traveling to North Carolina. Ron never met a stranger and loved telling stories of his many adventures. We will miss him and his stories very much.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Cindy Bowles; sister, Pamela Bowles of Tallahassee; daughters Amy Frost (Darren) of Winter Park and Debbie Ferguson (Richard) of Jacksonville; and grandchildren Cameron Miller of Victoria, British Columbia, Canada, Trevor Frost of Winter Park, and Kattie Ferguson of Jacksonville.
