Roger A. Wolfe (79) of Largo, Florida passed away Wednesday, September 29, 2021 after a long illness. He was born January 7, 1942 in Dixon, Illinois and moved to St. Petersburg in 1972. He was a United States Army Veteran and served in Vietnam.
He was preceded in death by his parents Bernard and Mildred Wolfe and his brother Ronnie Wolfe. He is survived by his son Tim Wolfe of Largo, FL, daughter Terri Spriggs, son-in-law Roger Spriggs, grandchildren Griffin and Brooke Spriggs all of St. Petersburg, FL, sister-in-law Marilyn Wolfe of Rockford, IL, several nieces and many loving cousins and friends.
Roger was an avid sports fan. He enjoyed going to games and watching the Rays, Bucs, and Lightning. He loved the outdoors and working in his yard. He was immensely proud of his two grandchildren. They gave him the nickname Crazy Grandpa and then he was fondly known to everyone as Crazy.
Private services will be held at Bay Pines National Cemetery.
