Roger A. Jenne Jr. age 52 of Orlando, FL passed away on Monday, April 1, 2019 of Congestive Heart Failure. Roger was the Beloved husband of Marie Garafola Jenne of 23 years. He was the son of Susan B. Jenne and the late Roger A. Jenne Sr. He is also survived by his sister Terri Jenne Spears (Tim) of Winter Park, FL and nephews Jeff Spears-Palm Bay FL, Matthew Spears-Palm Bay FL, Michael Spears, Oxford MS, Nikolai Zorich Roseville CA, Mikhail Zorich Reno NV, sister in-law- Denise Garafola Roseville CA, and brother in law Sam Garafola (Erin), Albuquerque, NM and his daughters Renee and Kathleen.
After graduating from Lake Howell High School in 1985, Roger continued his studies and was a graduate from the University of Central Florida with a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance in 1992. He was a strong advocate and supporter of his alma mater throughout his years.
Roger's career highlights include years of service at Hertz, and USA today. Always a very loyal employee in both organizations and very proud of the many milestones, accomplishments and career bests he had.
Roger's current employer OneDigital Health & Benefits proved to be the most impressionable work experience not just for Roger but for all of the team members that worked with him. The culture and Leadership supported his needs as he transitioned from an "up and coming" employee to one who would not be able to climb to great heights within the company due to his serious health issues. Roger would be the first to say that he was in "the best organization in the world" (!) when he needed a safe place to land as his health made decisions for him- that he was no longer in charge of. He was able to keep things as normal as possible with having a purpose each day in going to work and making a difference. Being productive was an important part of Rogers life and this organization helped him by granting this wish and opportunity for Roger to work until his passing.
Loyalty-friendship-commitment- love- allegiance-fun-were all part of Roger's being. He was a die-hard sports enthusiast and stood by his teams during the good times and the bad. Nothing made Roger happier than supporting his teams- the Michigan Wolvennes and the Indiana Hoosiers.
Golf and friendship were another passion for Roger. He could bridge any gap in time with a great game of golf with his buddies and a nice cold beverage. Roger lived his life with passion, drive and a connection to others.
Roger loved hard and cast a wide net in friendships that lasted his life time. His love for life was expressed in his travel, in his love for his wife Marie and his love for family and his friends. He will be remembered in all the things we do as we try to move on without him in our presence.
We have learned many lessons from Roger and will act on them as he would wish- and that is to keep this unique bond of Friendship & Love going to last for all the days of our lives-
