Robin Patricia Herd, age 63 of New York, passed away unexpectedly on February, 9 2018 at the Healthcare & Rehab Center of Sanford, Florida. She was born to the late George King and Juanita Lyle on December 31, 1954 in New York, New York.

Robin is survived by her loving daughters, Nyshea Jones and Felicia Lee, her granddaughter Zaniya Jones, and her son-in-laws Doneil Jones and Demetrius Lee. Her sister Toni Santiago, her nieces Dana Santiago and Bianca Santiago-Rosa, and great nephew Jaden Santiago-Rosa and great niece Caitlin Santiago-Rosa.

Robin resided in Winter Springs, Florida, however she lived most of her adult life in New York, where she graduated from Springfield Garden High School and worked as a customer service rep. at Con Edison, for several years. Driven by her love of cooking, she attended The New York Restaurant School, a college for culinary arts and restaurant management and graduated in 2001 with a degree in culinary arts.

A celebration of life is scheduled on Saturday, March 3, 2018 in Florida. All are welcome to attend and celebrate the life of Robin Herd. Considering visiting Hawaii was a dream trip of hers, we will make her wish come true by spreading her ashes there.
