Robert (Bob) E. Yliharju, 81 of Lake Mary, Florida passed on Thursday, January 23, 2020 at 7:45am from Parkinson's Disease. Robert was born on March 6, 1938 in New York, New York to Eino and Lillian (Sundquist) Yliharju.

He joined the United States AirForce in 1958 and soon was stationed in Japan where he served for 4 years.
He married Phyllis Rocchio on September 22, 1962. They lived in Oakdale NY then moved to Spring Hill, FL in 2004. After Phyllis' passing Robert moved to Lake Mary, FL where he enjoyed new friendships, ballroom dancing, bible study, exercising and the many wonderful outings that were offered by the community he lived in.
Prior to retirement, he worked for Grumman Aerospace where he held many positions.
Robert is survived by his children Robert Yliharju(Kristy) and Lori Stuart(Michael) and granddaughter Madison Stuart .

There will be a funeral mass at St.Luke's Lutheran Church on Tuesday, January 28, 2020 at 10:00 am, 2021 West State Road 426, Oviedo, Florida 32765, followed by a brief gathering in the hall.
