Robert J. Vanasse 82, of Fern Park, FL, passed away on June 09, 2024. Robert was born on July 10, 1941, in Little Falls, New York to the late James and Lucile (Brown) Vanasse. Robert was predeceased in death by his first two wives; Joan Randall Vanasse, Elizabeth (Bills) Vanasse, brother; William Atutis, daughter; Faith Thogode and stepson; Robert Bills.
Robert graduated from Little Falls High School and then went on to serve in the US Army from 1960-1963. He later worked and retired from his position as a car hauler for 37 years working in Mawa, NJ, Buffalo NY and Georgetown, KY.
Robert is survived by his loving wife, Pauline "Betsy" (Pronevitch) Atutis, children, Robert Vanasse, Jr. (Dolgeville, NY), Lisa Vanasse (Ilion, NY) Rachel Nuborazek Wilson (Frankfort, NY); brother, Peter Atutis, Jr. and special niece; Patricia Atutis (Fern Park, FL).
Robert is also survived by his grandchildren, great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
A Graveside Service with military honors will be held at 12:00 on July 13, 2024, at Rural Park Cemetery, Ingham Mills Station, Herkimer County, NY.
