Robert Anthony Troise, born November 12, 1940, passed away peacefully on October 22, 2026.
Robert was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. He later met and married the love of his life, Shelley, in North Miami Beach, Florida, in 1982. Together, they built their life and settled in Lake Mary, Florida.
Robert worked as a computer programmer and manager for AT&T until his early retirement. In retirement, he enjoyed the simple pleasures of life, including spending time at the beach getting a tan, cooking Italian food, watching Jeopardy! and traveling.
Robert had a personality all his own, with a tough exterior, a famously frugal nature, and a quick comment always at the ready. Those who knew him best will remember his unique sense of humor and the many stories that made him who he was.
His greatest pride and joy were his five children and his beloved dogs, who brought him immeasurable happiness and companionship throughout his life. He will be remembered for his sentimental collection of things, love of his Italian heritage, sharing past memories of family and friends and his loyalty and integrity.
In lieu of flowers or gifts, donations may be made in Robert’s memory to Boys Town.
