Robert " Bob" Jones passed away peacefully in his home in Longwood, FL at the age of 73.

He is survived by his wife, Linda, son CWO Robert A. Jones, Sr, USCG, and his wife Gina, 2 grandchildren Addison Rose & Robert "RJ" Jones, Jr. of Key West, FL, step-daughters Penny & Merrilee Coates, great granddaughter Mia Coates, grandson, Shelton Coates, of Alexandria, VA, step daughter Ashley Macho and grandson Malachi of Tampa, FL, brother Dr. Hugh Jones, wife Brenda, New Smyrna Beach, and nephew Jeff Jones of Orlando, FL, Sister Jessie Jones Downey, husband Paul, niece Elizabeth, nephew Jonathan Downey, sister Patricia Jones Consoli, husband Frank, brother Joseph Jones, of Longwood, FL.

"Bob" was a lifelong resident of Central FL. He married Linda May 21, 1983. He was an accomplished sheet metal fabricator, certified welder, with lasting accomplishments such as the Epcot Sphere & vehicle assembly building and launch pads at Cape Canaveral. He had a passion for flying and was an accomplished aerobatic pilot and has left a lasting legacy of paintings. Bob was a committed Christian and was a member of Journey Christian Church in Apopka, FL. HIs greatest joy was being with his family.
