Robert (Bob) Stewart Stream, 85, of Fort Myers, died Sunday, October 30th at a family home in Orlando, FL from prostate cancer. He is survived by his wife Mary Stream; his children, Carol Stream, Carin (Alan) Engelbert, Mike Sierra, and Bob Stream; eight grandchildren and a great grandchild.
He was born in Seattle, WA to Stewart & Irma (Adams) Stream on Feb 28, 1931. Bob attended Seattle area schools and graduated from the University of Washington in 1957, after returning from the Air Force in 1953.
Bob's career and passion was in the Automotive Industry. He began in the Northwest with Ford Motor Company and opened his 1st of 3 dealerships after moving to Colorado in 1969. He & Mary retired from Century Chevrolet in 1996 and moved their home to Fort Myers, Florida.
He was always very thankful for his friendships and the people that shared time with him as he took advantage of all that life could offer. His travels took him around the world and he enjoyed boating from the time he was a boy on Lake Washington, to the lakes of Colorado and finally to the Gulf Coast in Fort Myers.
Friends & family are invited to attend a celebration of his wonderful spirit on Thursday, November 17 at the Pelican Preserve Country Club, 9802 Pelican Preserve Blvd, Fort Myers, FL 33913 at 3:00 p.m. Refreshments will be served.
