Robert Allan Schwob-

Robert Schwob lived life to the fullest in his 75 years. He was a loyal Son to his parents, the best friend to his Brother Dick, a loving Father to Kevin and his Daughter-in-Law Robyn and devoted Grandfather to his Grandson, Kenny.

Robert was blessed with many friends from his time in Chicago, New York, Milwaukee, Dallas and, especially in Orlando where he lived for the past 30 years. These friends brought him special joy and they will miss his many quick-witted comments and generous behavior. Of special importance to Robert were the staff and members of Heathrow Country Club, whom he loved dearly and who loved him back.

Robert went to Millikin University after serving 3 years in the US Marine Corps. While he started his business career with the 3M Corp, he quickly moved into his real passion, the Hospitality Industry. He worked in all aspects of the business, including Operations, Sales and Marketing. And, he took special pleasure in managing Resorts that were not living up to their full potential.

After retirement, he gave much back to his community by donating time and money to local charitable organizations. He had a special love for Grace and Grits, where he frequently served dinners to the homeless. He was also very active with the St. Andrews Church, where he participated in a weekly Bible study with some of his closest friends.

Robert loved life and he helped everyone around him enjoy it too. He always had a smile on his face and a nice word for everyone with whom he met. While all will miss his smiling face, we are also thankful for the amount of time we had in his presence. He knew his friends and family made him a better person and he tried to help them be better too. Heaven just gained a special angel and we are all benefited from his friendship.

There will be a Celebration of Life for Robert at the Heathrow Country Club on Sunday, September 15 from 3:30-6PM. Suggested attire will be Country Club Casual.
