Obituary

Robert J. Perdue, age 67, of Orlando, Florida, passed away on August 12, 2020. Robert was born on October 18, 1952 in Vineland, New Jersey, the son of Miles Bernard & Suzanne Rita (Trommello) Perdue.
Bob grew up in Orlando, Florida and graduated Boone High School in 1970. He also attended Rollins College in Winter Park and worked a career in sales. Bob was a loving father, grandfather, brother, and uncle. He had a great love for his four legged family members as well. He was a faithful member of Lockhart Baptist Church. Bob enjoyed the simple things in life and was happiest just being with family. He was generous in heart and always celebrated others' accomplishments and special days. He was so proud of his family. Bob loved the outdoors, specifically toes in the sand, sun on his face, and relaxing in the ocean. He enjoyed camping and fishing. He was gifted with words, loved to write letters to family, and was also known to compose poetry. After a lifetime of struggling with mental illness, Bob is finally at peace.

Bob was predeceased by his parents. Survivors include his daughter Vanessa Perdue Brill (Michael) of Ward, Arkansas, grandsons Ian Neiswender and David Brill, son Richard Eric Dame, sister Linda Perdue Zedick (Tom) of Orlando, nephews Jon Zedick (Lora), Aaron Zedick, niece Adriene Zedick Tribble (Keith) and great-nieces Mariana Zedick and Elizabeth Tribble along with many aunts uncles and cousins.

A Celebration of his life will be held at 10:00am, Monday, August 17, 2020 at the Lockhart Baptist Church, 7601 Edgewater Drive, Orlando, FL 32810.

A private family Graveside Service will be held following the celebration of life at Chapel Hill Cemetery.
