Robert E. Marquis, 75, of Crucible, PA, passed away on Friday, August 2, 2024 at his home with his family by his side.

Robert was born on January 9, 1949, in Washington, PA, the son of Frank and Alverda (Marquis) Ullom.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a daughter, Millie McCombs Eldridge and a son, Shane Rush.

Robert was in the United States Navy. He was a member of ABATE Washington County Chapter and the Washington Country Car Cruisers. He enjoyed running for deals with his best friend Charles Bainbridge, camping, working on old cars with his son B.J., and going to car shows in his 1946 Ford Coupe.

Robert is survived by his wife of 45 years, Shirley (Salisbury) Marquis, children, Robert (BJ) Marquis jr, Robert McCombs, Tammy Ealy and husband Tim, and Tracie Marquis, 8 grandsons, Kevin and Korey Pierce, Matthew and Mike Marquis, Dawson Marquis, Shane, Shawn and Arron Rush, 6 granddaughters, Amber McCombs, Falon Rush, Randi, Leslie, Shauna and Tyler Ison, and Katie Eldridge, 15 great grandchildren, brothers, Frank Ullom Jr. and James Valentino and wife Debby, sister, Linda Ealy and husband Bruce, several nieces, nephews and cousins.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, September, 8, 2024 at 2:00 PM at the American Legion Post 175, 168 Park Ave., Washington, PA 15301, those attending are encouraged to drive their motorcycles or classic cars. Military rites will be accorded.
