Kirk, Robert B. 81, died Feb. 5, 2015 at Westminster Suncoast. Born in Akron, Ohio he came to St. Petersburg as an infant with his parents Dr. Kay and Dorothy (Koons) Kirk. He graduated from St. Petersburg High School in 1951 and from Emory Dental School in 1957. After practicing dentistry for 42 years he retired in 1999. He was a member of the American, Florida, West Coast, and Pinellas County Dental Associations. Bob always had a ready joke and a smile for all. His first love was his family and he was married to Edie 55 years. As an ardent fisherman he won finale ay of the Suncoast Tarpon Round-up three times. He loved fishing and hunting with his �boys� and enjoyed many years of traveling and camping. He is survived by wife, Edythe; son Jeffrey W. (Annette); son John F.; and grandchildren Clair M. and Austin R. There will be a celebration of life in the near future.
