Robert Timothy Johnston, 61, of Apopka, FL, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 27, 2017 in his sleep at his home. Born in Sioux City, IA to George and Margaret "Peggy" Johnston he lived most of his life in Omaha, Nebraska.

Robert was a hardworking man who owned his own roofing company. Robert had a keen sense of humor and always kept everyone laughing. In his spare time he enjoyed, spending time with the grandchildren, eating sweets, barbequing and watching his favorite television show The Voice. Robert was extremely loving and proud of his two children. He was very loved and will be misses greatly by all of his family.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents and his wife Louann Johnston. He is survived by his daughter Colleen Johnston- Doreste and her husband Geiser Doreste and their 3 children Giovann, Dominic and Gabriella of Apopka, FL. His son Patrick Johnston and his wife Rachel Saathoff-Johnston and their daughter Veronica McDonald of Omaha, NE. He was preceded in death by his sister and best friend Eileen Johnston-Engel and her husband Gerald "Jerry" Engel and survived by his 2 other sisters Barbara Ann "Barb" Johnston-Hodsdon and Mary Johnston. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews Michelle Engel-Reyes, and her 4 children Miranda Johnson, Sierra Reyes, Alexa Reyes and Nathaniel Reyes. Kirk "Butch" Engel and wife Tracy Engel and their 5 children Seth, Zolan and 3 step children. Jacqueline Engel-Astahoff and husband Michael and their children Josephine and Matthew. His Niece Susan Engel. Teri Lynn Hodsdon- Karlsson and Spouse Jim Karlsson. Sandra Hodsdon-Brackle and Spouse Mick and their daughter Saige. Also his nieces Kristine Hodsdon, Jennifer Hodsdon, Margaret "Maggie" Johnston and nephew Connor Johnston.
