Obituary

Robert Sherman Jackson III 55 of St. Petersburg passed away Sunday, March 1, 2015. He was co-owner of Jackson Brothers Electric, Inc. building a thriving business with his brothers Neil and Bruce. He enjoyed being a part of a bowling league for over 25 years creating many lifelong friendships. Rob along with his childhood friend Bill Carnes shared the love of fishing, winning many tournaments and trophies. Playing games and connecting with people was a special skill he had because he truly loved life. Willing to take a risk, gambling and card playing also made him feel alive. His passing is a shock we told each other every day "I love you" recognizing how lucky we were to have found one another. Both of us were able to be ourselves within our relationship giving and receiving unconditional love and acceptance. I will miss his smile, laugh, sense of humor, warm hugs, understanding, caring and most of all his kisses. Robert, Dana and I appreciate everyones love and support during this unreal time, any monetary assistance will help with something I didn't think we would encounter for 30-40 years. Please be kind to those closest to you, were fortunate knowing Rob lived in love. Be patient and grateful for each and every person that holds you near and dear to their heart. Thank you and God Bless. Robert is survived by his loving wife, Libby; he is the loving father of Robert Jackson IV and Dana Jackson; brother of Neil and Bruce and his wife, Laura. He was preceded in death by his brother, Mark Jackson and their parents, Robert S. Jackson, Jr. and Anita Vivian Marshall Jackson. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday, March 7 from 6 P.M. Celebration of Life Service starts at 7 P.M.
