Robert Arthur Huggins, 81, of Orlando, Florida passed away on January 4, 2021 after an extended illness.
Robert was born in Orlando to Joseph Crawford Huggins and Mildred Eloise Parker Huggins. He was an Eagle Scout, graduated from Boone High School, and served in the U.S. Army Reserve as a Military Policeman. Robert met his wife, Nada, at age 12, and it was love at first sight. Even as he battled disease, Robert's greatest love and comfort was his wife Nada Myrle.
Robert's children will remember him as a loving father who taught them the value of hard work. His grandchildren will never forget nights spent at Nana and Papa's, and Sunday morning trips to Dunkin Donuts. Robert was respected and admired by friends, church family, and business associates for his loyalty, integrity and servant's heart. In addition to being a successful General Contractor, he loved woodworking, fishing, boating, and western movies.
Robert is survived by his wife, Nada; his sister, Sonia; his children, Keith, Kirt, and Amy. Grandchildren, Austin, Travis, Colby, Emily, and Corbin; and great-grandchildren, Elijah, Emmitt, and Isaac. He is joined in heaven by his parents, and sisters Daphna Carver and Cynthia Bunnell.
