Robert Hugh Huey's Obituary
Robert Hugh Huey was born in Waynesboro, Pennsylvania on September 7, 1941. He passed away suddenly on Sunday, October 23, 2016, in Sanford, Florida. Robert was the oldest of three children, born to Patricia Carr and Robert William Huey.
Robert leaves behind his wife, Joann Huey of Sanford, Florida. He also leaves behind three children, daughter Theresa Huey Suarez of Miami, son Joel Huey of Orlando, son Daniel Huey of Virginia, grandson Christopher Ruiz of Miami and stepdaughters Sherri Lee and Dannielle Townley, and stepson James DeBose of West Virginia.
Robert spent his career in aviation after leaving the air force. He worked for National Airlines, Pan American Airlines, and AirTran. He retired as a supervisor from Southwest Airlines in 2008. Robert will be cremated and interred at the Cape Canaveral National Veterans Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the Humane Society, as he loved all three of his dogs he adopted from the Humane Society.
A Graveside Service will be held September 7, 2018 At Cape Canaveral National Cemetery at 12:30PM
