Robert William Harper entered into rest with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on March 25, 2022 . He was born on July 14, 1928, to James E. and Mary F. Harper in Winter Park, FL.
He proudly served in the US Navy as a Seabees during WWII. After the war, he was owner/operator of Central Florida's oldest and largest plumbing company, Harper Plumbing and Heating, Inc. After retirement he founded the Harper Family Charitable Foundation, where his legacy will continue to bless children and adults with disabilities in the Central Florida area.
He is preceded in death by the love of his life, Patricia E. Harper and his two daughters, Barbara Jane Harper, LPN and Dr. Mary Sue Harper. He is survived by his grandson, Robert (Emily) Hogan of Maryland and granddaughter, Teresa (Roy) Harris and his great grandson, Joseph T. Harris (who he lovingly called Charlaroochie) of Mount Dora, FL.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that contributions be made to the Harper Family Charitable Foundation, Inc 6917 Round Lake Road, Mount Dora, FL 32757 for the health, education, maintenance and well being of disabled children and adults of all ages in the Central Florida area, wherever the need is found to be the greatest.
