Robert ("Pops/Poppy") Gangwisch, 88 of Oviedo, FL, died peacefully on Monday, March 28, 2022. He was born in Newark, NJ on August 17 1933 to Margaret and Fredrick Gangwisch.

Robert graduated from Kearny, High School in 1952 and from Rutgers University School of Pharmacy in 1957. He worked as a retail Pharmacist in New Jersey and Arizona before retiring in 2005. After retiring Bob and Nancy enjoyed traveling across the country and spending time with family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, sister Rosemary Wildrick and his wife of 55 yeas, the love of his life, Nancy (Turton) Gangwisch. He is survived by his daughters: M. Lisa Valentino (Bill) of Oviedo, FL, Jill Leneweaver (Mark) of Buena Vista, CO and son: Robert F. Gangwisch (Sheri) of Phoenix, AZ. He was most proud of his grandkids: Erin Valentino, Justin Valentino (Nadia), Brian Valentino (Tenley), Rachael Leneweaver (Adam), Carrie Leneweaver (Matt) and Moe Leneweaver (Jac) and was often found telling strangers about their various adventures and accomplishments. More recently he spent his time bragging about his newest pride and joys- his great grandchildren: Kaihla Valentino, Kira Valentino, Khloe Valentino, Leona Valentino, and Quinn Leneweaver-Cottrell

Pops was a loving and caring father, grandfather and great grandfather and was adored by his family and friends he will be greatly missed.

A family Memorial Service will be held at a later date in New Jersey
