Robert Vernon Fliehs, age 65, of New Smyrna Beach, Florida passed away on August 11, 2020. Robert was born on January 22, 1955 in Pahokee, Florida, the son of Robert Wilhelm & Eileen Lola (Tuttle) Fliehs. His family moved to Belle Glade, Florida in 1952 from Groton, South Dakota.

He is survived by his wife, Laura (Romans) Fliehs, four children - two sons and two daughters: Lee (Mandy) Fliehs of Geneva, FL, Peter(Angie) Boykin of Sanford, FL, Chris (Steve) Rosier of Sumterville, FL and Jennifer (Chris) Smith of Virginia. Robert has seven grandchildren - four grandsons and three granddaughters. Siblings include one brother, Jim (Kathy) Bowen of Hawaii, three sisters - Nancy (Ned) Julien of Sanford, FL, Doraine Harrington of Titusville, FL, Pattie (Chuck) Ludwig of West Palm Beach, FL, and two sisters-in-law: Joyce Cote, of New Smyrna Beach, FL and Susanne (Robert) Pattillo of Douglasville, Georgia. Also, many nieces nephews cousins and friends.

He worked as a consumer freight relocation engineer A/K/A Truck Driver for 47 years. He Loved being around the water, boating, fishing and spending time with his grandbabies and doing for others. He was the kindest, most generous man God could ever have given us. Our loving husband, father, son, brother and grandfather.
