Robert E. Dunn, �Bob�, age 82, passed away March 22, 2015. Born on November 3, 1932 to William M. and Edria Hand Dunn (deceased), of Norwich, NY. Bob is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Patricia; son, Tim (Sherri), daughter, Lisa; stepchildren Theresa (James) and Jeff (Andrea); his sisters Elizabeth �Janie� Kelly and Irene Smith; brother Tom (Elinor); and grandchildren Amanda (Art), Robby (Rosey), Pam (Joe), Sarah, Ian and many great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his son, Mike; daughter Bridget �Missy� and brother Bill.
He raised his family of 4 children following the death of his first wife Margaret �Peg� O�Connor in 1969.
Bob moved to Florida in 1951, enlisted in the US Army and proudly served in Korea. On return he attended SPJC before settling into a long, successful career with the US Postal Service.
He managed the historical Open Air Post Office in downtown St. Petersburg and Euclid Post Office before retiring from Crossroads Post Office in 1987.
During his retirement Bob enjoyed playing golf with Pat, and was an avid Rays fan and supporter of the San Francisco Giants, formally the New York Giants. Bob was also a member of the Elks lodge for many years.
The family will receive friends, Thursday, March 26, 2015 at 12:00 at R. Lee Williams Funeral Home, 3530 � 49th Street North, St. Petersburg with a service at 1:00 and Interment to follow at Calvary Catholic Cemetery in Clearwater.
