Bob died peacefully in his home on Aug 18, 2025 at the age of 64.

Bob is survived by his wife Bonnie, and sons Brian Chabot (Chelsea), Evan Chabot (Kelly) and Richard Bess (Emma). As well as grandchildren Autumn, Luke and Ivy. He is survived by his brother Mike Chabot of Tennessee, brother-in-law Lee Carrick of South Carolina, sister-in-law Beth Cherry (Charles) of North Carolina and sister-in-law Tracy Chabot of Orlando. They were a huge part of his joy for life. He leaves four nieces and nephews, several cousins, his aunt and uncle.

Bob was a 1983 graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi. He worked in the cellular industry from 1987 to 2025. He was very active in the Boy Scouts of America with his sons. Bob was very fortunate to work with so many wonderful people in the cellular industry and BSA. He loved seeing his friends and classmates at the MEHS reunions and reminiscing over the amazing fun we all had with each other.
Bob was diagnosed with stage 4 renal cell cancer this past June. While we are greatly saddened by him leaving us so soon, we rejoice in our Lord Jesus Christ, for He was merciful.
