Upon his graduation in 1966, he received numerous college football scholarships from around the country. He remained a devout fan of the New England Patriots, Boston Celtics, Boston Red Sox & Boston Bruins for his entire life and adopted the University of Florida Gators as his home team sitting in the South End Zone for several years rooting his team on.

He was a licensed arborist learning the trade from his stepfather. He later owned Colonial Tree Service before moving to Florida. He then changed careers and decided to go into the lunch wagon business. He & his wife owned Bob & Anne's Take-A-Break Catering, servicing the construction sites in west Orange County, Lake County & the Disney area for several years before retiring.

A special thanks from his family to Dr Kotapurath Moideen, Sarah, Charlie, Madalyn & their entire staff at the Florida Cancer Specialists in Lake Mary. Also to Dr Usha Mohandas, Marilyn C & their staff at Family Physicians Group. And last, to the PCU Oncology ward at Advent Health in Altamonte Springs for their outstanding care during Bob's many stays in their hospital. Thank you all from the bottom of our hearts.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

Bob was a kind soul, a Christian and he loved his Lord & Savior, Jesus Christ:

"I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Henceforth there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, will award to me on that Day...."
