Obituary

Robert Bianco passed away on July 9, 2026 at the age of 75.

He was born on July 30, 1950 in Elmont, NY to Martin and Sandy Bianco. Rob is survived by his wife of 51 years, Shelley; as well as his children, Taryn and Garret.

***

Rob attended King’s College in Briarcliff Manor, NY where he played drums in the Pep Band, and he graduated with a degree in Business Economics.

Rob & Shelley married in 1975 & he pursued his Master’s degree in Health Care Administration. He had a long career directing senior living facilities - he had a true compassion for the elderly.

Rob was involved with a Christian Gospel group for several years—New Covenant—playing drums, guitar, and singing. Rob and Shelley also led the youth group at First Baptist Church of Rhinebeck, NY for several years.

They moved several times, living on Long Island NY, Rhinebeck NY, Alexandria VA, Fayetteville AR, Roanoke VA, and finally Orlando FL.

Rob and Shelley hosted a life group in their home since 2015 - a wonderful, prayerful group of fellow believers.

Rob loved the Lord. He always aimed to have a positive outlook and a smile for everyone he met. He had an amazing sense of humor and was a true listener. It was a running joke in the family that if you left Rob on his own for more than five seconds, he would start up a conversation with whichever stranger was closest to him. But that was just Rob - He was genuinely interested in people and their stories.

He is now rejoicing with Jesus.
