Robert A. (Bob) Scullion, age 90, returned to his heavenly father on June 8 after and extended battle with Parkinson's Disease, Dimentia and Macular Degeneration. Bob was preceded by his wife Jane (Prosperi) Scullion and is survived by his previous wife, Patricia (Winter) Scullion.
He was a vibrant, sweet and well-loved father of five children and two step-children. To his grandchildren he was known as "silly papap". He knew, loved, laughed and played with several of his nieces and nephews as they grew up.
Bob was an avid Pittsburgh Steeler, Pirate and Penguin fan as well as hunter and fisherman. He loved nothing more than a chance to sing or dance, especially Irish tunes.
Bob lived his life in Pittsburgh from birth until 2015, where he was relocated to Florida for medical reasons. He worked as a photo engraver for the Pittsburgh Press and Post-Gazette for over 30 years.
Bob is survived by his five brothers and sisters; Edward Scullion and his wife Patricia (Lang) Scullion (deceased), Patrick Scullion and his wife Geraldine (Faulkner) Scullion, Mary Lou Scullion-Mullett (deceased), Dennis Scullion and his wife Ida Gallo-Scullion, Evelyn Scullion Archey and the late Robert Archey, and Laverne Scullion-Gapinski-Koch and her husband John Koch.
Bob was father to five children and two step-children; Robert J. Scullion and his wife Diana (Jackson) Scullion, Kathleen Scullion-Smith and her husband Ernest Smith, Donald Scullion and his friend Candace McCutcheon, Dennis Scullion and his wife Tamara (Weaks) Scullion, Janet Scullion-Wade and her husband Barry Wade and his step-daughters, Karen (Prosperi) Fasone and her husband Tony Fasone, and Deborah Prosperi (deceased).
Bob was grandfather of eight grandchildren – Nicholas Smith, Meighan Smith-Ammenworth, Amanda Smith-Jacobe, Robert Scullion, Bradley L. Scullion, Ryan Wade, Rachel Wade and Adam Clarke.
He was great-grandfather to Keegan Smith, Logan Smith, Brianna Smith, Aubrianna Scullion, Adaleigh Scullion, Deacon Scullion, Vincent Jacobe, Stella Clarke and Alaina Clarke.
Bob was also a famous uncle to several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews too numerous to mention.
Bob had a strong love for his mother, Margaret. In his memory, and hers as well, could you please consider making donations to the Little Sisters of the Poor in Pittsburgh, PA in lieu of flowers. His mother spent 40 years of her life there with Dimentia. They can be found on-line at

A Catholic Celebration of Life Mass will be held at Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church, 5300 Old Howell Branch Road, Winter Park, FL 32792 on Friday, June 19, 2020 at 10:30 AM (please plan to arrive by 10:00 AM so that arrangements can be made for seating during this COVID-19 event).
