Rita Westboe, age 87, was born in Lafayette, Indiana on March 4, 1930. She went home to the Lord on October 11, 2017 in Altamonte Springs, Florida after living a full life. The Westboes moved to Vero Beach, Florida in 1994 from, Hamilton, Ohio. They also had lived in Indiana and Illinois. She was an ardent lover of art, especially jewelry and painting.

She was the widow of Anders Westboe who preceded her in death in 2007. Also preceded in death by her sister Linda Hogsett and brother Donald Cassini. Rita Westboe is survived by her brother, David Cassini of Lafayette, Indiana, and14 nieces and nephews, many grandnieces and grandnephews scattered throughout the U.S. and Norway.

Per Rita's wishes, she did not want a memorial service but did state that
donations in her name could be made to Goodwill, the Humane Society of Vero Beach Thrift Store, or any other charity dedicated to helping others.
