Richard Lee Swann 72, Sanford native, member of the United States Airforce and Vietnam Veteran went to be with the lord on December 28, 2017 at Hospice of the Comforter Altamonte Springs. He is survived by his wife Patty Johnson Swann, daughter Rachel Swann Jasperson, son-in-law Ray Jasperson, granddaughter Meghan and grandson Aidan. He is also survived by his sister-in-law Alice Swann, sister Charlotte (Marvin) Wilke, brother Charles(Dottie) Swann, sister Mary Frances (Don) Lee, several nieces and nephews. He was proceeded in death by his mother Ora Mae Swann, father George Leslie Swann Sr., and brother George Leslie Swann Jr.

He was a member and deacon at First Presbyterian Church of Sanford, member and elder of Markham Woods Presbyterian Church. He was a member of Kiwanis and Rotary Club of Sanford, Past President of the Longwood Chamber of commerce, active member with the Sanford Chamber of Commerce and a lifelong donor to the Central Florida Blood Bank.
