Richard Truman Stack, Age 69, of Longwood, Florida, passed away while surrounded by his family Thursday morning March 31, 2016 in Cornerstone Hospice at Orlando Regional Medical Center.
He was born April 26, 1946 in Wassaic, New York. Richard was a disabled Vietnam Veteran and loyal employee of the United States Postal Service for 28 years. Richard loved his home church of Waterstone Church in Longwood, Florida and was a faithful member.

He cherished the company of his friends and family. He was a devoted Papa and his grandchildren were the joy of his life. He was a model railroad train enthusiast, NASCAR fan and cheered for his favorite New York Yankees Baseball team. Richard spent most of his days reading, playing on his computer and loving on his beloved dog, Kiya.

He will be deeply missed, but we can all rest in the knowledge that God has already said to him, "Well done thy good and faithful servant".

He is survived by his wife Jeannie Gilbert Stack and his three children, Carly Bishop, Daniel Stack (Meghan Stack), and Caitlin Gordon (Lee Gordon). 4 Grandchildren, Mackenzie Gordon, Isaiah Gordon, Charlotte Stack, and Oliver Stack. Brother and Sister in Law, Bill and Cathy Lindlau. 2 Nephews, David Halstead (Leonie Halstead), and Will Lindlau. 4 Great Nieces and Nephews, Willy Lindlau, Anna Lindlau, Tyler Halstead, and Maddie Halstead.

The Memorial Service will be held at 4:00 P.M. Saturday, April 9, 2016 in the Waterstone Church Sanctuary with Pastor Ron Smith officiating.

Interment to follow at a later date.

A dinner reception will be immediately following the memorial service.
