Rev. Richard L. Pennington, 77 of Florida passed away July 1, 2019. Rev. Pennington was born February 17, 1942.

He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Gloria Jean "Jeanie" Pennington, children: Rich L. (Paula) Pennington Jr., Jennifer (Michael) Casey, John (Carol) Pennington, sisters: Brenda (Chuck) Lohr and Renda (Ben) James, 8 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, and many other loving family and friends.

"Pastor Richard" as so many called him, was a pioneer in church ministry. As Senior Pastor of a Non-Denominational church in Woodbridge, VA (Faith Ministries/Cornerstone Christian Center), he along with his wife "Pastor Jeanie", ministered to thousands through radio, television and the pulpit. Pastor Richard also preached in Africa, Asia, Australia, Israel, UK and throughout Central America where he helped establish a church and feeding program in Nicaragua that is still thriving today. In addition, he also established a bible college that trained pastors and ministers throughout Nicaragua. Although he semi-retired in 2005, he continued to share the gospel in different churches.
